The racing community is renowned for its fundraising and charity giving and every year the four founding partners of The Castlebridge Consignment each select a charity or good cause of their choice and make a suitable donation, recent beneficiaries include the East Anglian Air Ambulance, the RNLI, Our Lady’s Children Hospital, and a donation towards Cystic Fibrosis. Also regular sponsors of the Tipperary Hunt point-to-point and to the St Mary’s Church Fete (Cheveley).

Castlebridge Paintballing

Castlebridge sponsored an evening at Combat Paintball in Thetford Forest. It proved to be a highly competitive evening and there were plenty of bruises on show the following day! The players included representatives from a number of Newmarket trainers, vets, shippers, bloodstock agents & stud farms – see below for the team photo. Most importantly it raised over £450 for the St Nicholas Hospice.

Castlebridge Neck pens

Sandie Edmeades, wife of Bloodstock Agent Will, helps the Loldia Primary School which is a very needy school in a semi-arid region of central Kenya near the shores of Lake Naivasha in the Rift Valley. The school has very few books or pencils, whilst pens are rarely seen. The Directors of Castlebridge offered to send 600 pens and neck holders and the photo below shows the great delight at the arrival of the four-coloured pens more usually seen round the sales in the hands of bloodstock buyers.

Please take a look at the school’s website www.loldiaschoolfund.org.uk and consider if there might be any ways you could also help.

Racing Goes Karting Grand Prix
